This year we will continue with the concept of young conference delegates reporting on/at the 2021 CEI conference. This concept has been used in many different ways over the years. A number of delegations at previous conferences have showcased the work of the Young Reporters for the Environment organised by FEE (Foundation for Environmental education). At other conferences they put together a daily newsletter or collected ideas to present at the closing ceremony.
We want them to report on what they encounter in an interesting way via social media before and during the conference and to collect interesting articles for the
Global Forum magazine. We need delegates to volunteer that have a mature level of English, a flair for creative writing, an ability to interview, to be social media literate, and to be interested in telling the environmental stories.
The young reporters will be led by Andrew Cox (Ireland) and Cindy Leibner (USA) who will act as the editorial team with technical support from Jana Cox (Ireland/Netherlands). Most important is that the voice of the young people is heard. It is their future.
If you or your students want to join the team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
